“The Lord reigneth.”-Psalm 97:1
1 Joy to the world! The Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King,
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing (2ce)
And heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing
2 Joy to the earth! The Saviour reigns;
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy; (2ce)

3 No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found (2ce)

4 He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
